Located within walking distance of more than 150 dining and entertainment venues in the Short North Arts District, Hilton Columbus Downtown is the official host hotel for the 2026 SCS Annual Meeting. The room rate for SCS Members that book within using the link above is $215 per night.
OR Forms – Attendees Must Complete
To participate in observations, attendees must complete the OR forms, which are available on the Official Meeting Page. Please download and complete the OR Consent Form Packet before uploading the completed forms for the Ohio State meeting organizers.

Thursday, Nov. 12 | Arrival and Signature Ohio State Experiences
• Optional off‑site activities designed to showcase Columbus, including: golf outing at The Country Club at Muirfield Village or animal encounter at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
• Special evening dinner at Ohio Stadium
Friday, Nov. 13 | Education and Celebration
• Full day of programming at the new University Hospital, including OR observations, scientific presentations and educational sessions, and society business meeting (members only)
• Companions will spend the day at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
• Formal black-tie dinner at the National Veterans Memorial and Museum
Saturday, Nov. 14 | Closing Events
• Breakfast and featured keynote presentation
• Optional tailgate experience ahead of Ohio State football
• Closing celebration and final dinner at the home of Dr. Tim Pawlik
