Join the Society of Clinical Surgery

The 2019 SCS membership application is available now. Completed applications are due by July 30, 2019, 11:59 p.m. PST. Applications received after this date will not be considered.

Note: There is a new requirement to include a brief (150 words max) biography to highlight the applicant’s scope of clinical practice and annual RVUs, educational accomplishments and research contributions specifically focusing on funded projects and those of particularly high impact on the field.

Please complete the 2019 application document and submit it, in addition to the applicant bio, using the SCS Membership Application Submission web form below by July 30, 2019, 11:59 p.m. PST. Upon completing and submitting this form, you will receive a confirmation email and your application and materials will be sent to:

The application document requires that the following items be completed and saved as a single PDF file, which is to then be uploaded and submitted to the Secretary using the form below:

  1. Two signed letters of recommendation from Society of Clinical Surgery members proposing the applicant for membership. Letters of recommendations should comment on the applicant’s national/international recognition within their specialty, their clinical performance, their innovation and their contributions to their institution and their field.
  2. Completed Society of Clinical Surgery membership form (see full 2019 membership application document).
  3. Completed and signed proposer for membership form (see full 2019 membership application document).
  4. CV of applicant.
